Who doesn't like a good bowl of soup in mid-winter, with the Super Bowl on? There are so many ways to go on this - you could theme your soup based upon who is playing in the game, so this year you could do a chowder featuring Perfectly Potato Cheddar Soup Mix, such as this one: http://www.tastefullysimple.com/tryourrecipes/recipes.aspx?rid=3835&src=s or pull influence from one of New York's many neighborhoods with an Italian or German inspired soup.
I personally like this solid stand-by version of chili, using the Wahoo! Chili Seasoning Blend, some Garlic Garlic and Seasoned Salt as well: http://www.tastefullysimple.com/tryourrecipes/recipes.aspx?rid=6462&src=s
A father and husband who loves to cook, entertain and involve his boys in the kitchen. You will find ways to keep the work in the kitchen using Tastefully Simple products straightforward, allowing you to maximize time with family, friends and for yourself - without sacrificing flavor and creativity. The feedback is honest because, well, the food is tested by friends and children, who are always going to be honest. Enjoy!

Super Bowl food - Pre-game
As party guests are settling in, arriving early to mid-afternoon, you want to have something fun for them to enjoy while socializing. It might be around the kitchen table, it might be watching the HOURS of pre-game activity or perhaps around a pool table. Two easy ideas - Corn, Black Bean layered dip featuring the Corn and Black Bean Salsa and Wahoo Chili Seasoning Blend. The recipe for this is here: http://www.tastefullysimple.com/tryourrecipes/recipes.aspx?rid=11141&src=s
Another great finger food is the Roasted Onion Blossoms, using the new fall/winter product Roasted Onion Warm Dip. http://www.tastefullysimple.com/tryourrecipes/recipes.aspx?rid=10979&src=s

Will be sharing lots of simple, fun and delicious ideas
I have been wanting to break in to the blog world for a while and here I am! I am an independent business owner, as a consultant for a home based business, Tastefully Simple. I love so many things about the company overall, but it all starts with the food! As a company, Tastefully Simple offers easy to prepare or use products, unique to the marketplace. As a consultant, I offer a taste-testing party opportunity, where the food is the party. I use these products every day and look forward to sharing more how they can make meal preparation and entertaining simple!
